Because You're Worth it

investment questions

A common question, which I totally understand.

Let me first state, I pride myself on the services that I provide.

Pelvic health is complex and theres a lot to unpack. SO much so that I strongly feel it cannot be done within the barriers of our current healthcare system. There is no way a thorough evaluation and treatment program can be done well in a 30-minute visit. Insurance does not care if we cover it all, I do.

In our sessions, we truly unpack everything- nutrition, wellness, movement, mobility, symptoms, goals and all the things that make you, you.

Not taking insurance allows me to individualize my treatment plan and support you fully. I’m considered an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. Many of my clients are able to use their out-of-network benefits for partial reimbursement, and I’m happy to provide you with a detailed receipt (a superbill) to submit to your insurance. If you’d like, I can walk you through how that process works!

Patient centered driven care is something I am VERY passionate about. My practice model allows me to fully focus on you, your goals, and does not force me to be limited by the restrictions set forth by insurance.

If you were to go to a traditional clinic, you may have a co-pay, be seen multiple times a week (ex: $50 x 3x a week= $150) and be treated by an aide vs 1:1 time with an actual physical therapist. My goal with this model is to treat you less frequently, spend all of your time with you and not be limited by your insurance.

Yes, absolutely!

"Betsy is a master of her craft. She's one of the only PTs and professionals I've experienced while treating injury that made me feel more empowered rather than creating more fear. She's a true athletes PT and made me rethink things in my body I’ve been doing for a long time. I’m so grateful to have found Betsy and she truly makes you feel comfortable discussing any and all things. I love her entire approach.”

— Bill K.

"I had a total knee replacement and was discharged from PT. I wanted to golf and be able to go to the gym but still didn't feel ready despite my discharge. I reached out to Betsy for more care and we spent several sessions working on higher level activities and building my confidence. I played 9 holes yesterday and I feel like I’m back to where I want to be. Thank you so much.”

— April G.

"I discovered Dr. Betsy by chance through my social media algorithm. I saw that she was a PT specializing in pelvic health, a mom, and a fellow crossfitter. After a few visits with two other pelvic floor PTs without real resolution I knew I had to give her a shot. Her thoroughness, apprach and genuine care for her clients in this field are unmatched. From the exam room to testing movements on the weightlifting floor to providing detailed summaries and regular check ins, she went above and beyond. Im so grateful to be symptom free and do what I love without fear, thanks to her.”

— Emily L.

"I had tried traditional PT without any success for my low back pain. Pelvic PT is really the missing piece of the puzzle. Betsy worked with me to strengthen my back, improve my mobility and actually taught me to relax my pelvic floor. My back pain has improved and I can now get off the floor with my grandkids.”

— Aubrey L.

"Betsy is the best, She takes the “whole you” into account when doing her assessment and designing a program to help you not only get better but keep getting better. I saw her for nagging back pain that despite my best efforts was getting worse as I got stronger in the gym. She gave me one cue that helped immediately and that gave me the courage to continue healing throughout the day and throughout my workouts. - not just tied to a treatment table. More than a great assessment and personalized exercises, working with Betsy gave me hope that I could not only get out of pain but that I could keep moving in the gym and in my life."

— Kelly G.

"I worked with Betsy virtually due to a long waitlist with a local PT. I was hesitant to do a virtual appointment for my symptoms but I would 10/10 recommend. She is kind, encouraging and really made me feel seen.”

— Christina C.

"I took Betsy's pelvic workshop, it was fun, interactive, funny and super comfortable. I learned so much about my body that I had no idea about. Really cool workshop.”

— Brooke F.

"I took Betsy's deadlift and pelvic floor workshop and I left feeling way more confident in both my breathing and bracing techniques.”
